Build. Send. Upgrade.

Tower defence where
the other side fights back.

Your towers protect your core. Your creeps test theirs.
One gold reserve, two ways to spend it: defend, or attack?

01 / Hold the line

Make every
tower count.

Build on the grass beside the roads. Cover the approaches, protect your island core, and leave your opponent looking for a way through.

Gold spent on a tower can’t buy creeps.

02 / Find the opening

Give their towers
something to do.

Buy creeps to send at your opponent. Choose what to send, keep an eye on their defence, and turn your gold into pressure.

Launched sends grow your income. Today’s attack helps fund tomorrow’s plan.

Development gameplay Level 4 branch

03 / Change the answer

Pick your
answer.

At level 4, every tower chooses one of two branches. The choice is permanent, so pick the one that answers what they’re sending.

Facing a crowd? Scatter Splinter’s two side splinters hit the next creeps. Need damage that keeps working? Ember Splinter adds a stacking burn with every hit.

Choose your faction

Three ways
to wage a tower war.

Naturalists grow and control the roads. Technomogs put firepower in motion.
The Umbral Covenant fights up close and lets damage linger.

01 / Rooted in resilience

Naturalists

Carved oak. Rugged stone. Living growth.

Let your defence take root. Naturalist towers grow stronger with every round they survive, up to +15% damage, while control towers help keep creeps in reach.

Ember Splinter

Each hit adds a stacking burn.

Scatter Splinter

Two side splinters hit the next creeps.

02 / Engineered for pressure

Technomogs

Matte brass. Dark iron. Cyan glass.

Put your firepower in motion. With mobile weapons and precise firing lines, placement decides what each tower can reach.

Bolt Copter: a brass aircraft hovering over its circular dark iron helipad.

Bolt Copter

A mobile aircraft with a fixed helipad. It moves towards its target inside its patrol area.

Position the pad well. The aircraft does the chasing.

03 / Let the darkness linger

Umbral
Covenant

Obsidian. Bone. Violet light.

Strike at close range, weaken creeps with curses, and make lingering damage part of your defence.

Tendril: violet limbs curled around an obsidian shard with bone braces and a stone base.

Tendril

Fast melee strikes from an anchored tower. Build it close to the road and make that short reach count.

Curses and lingering damage give Umbral its own answer to incoming pressure.

An island of your own

One opponent.
Or two.

Go head to head in a duel, or join a three-player attack ring: you send at one rival while the other sends at you. When the ring reverses, your target changes.

Practise against bots. Experiment with factions. Learn when to invest, when to hold, and when to make your move.

Online play

All strategy.
No chat.

Inside Tower Wars, there are no social communication features. Your next move is how you make your point.

  • No text or voice chat
  • No direct messaging
  • No social feeds or player-written posts
  • No in-game social profiles

Online play starts with private rooms: create a room, share its six-character code, and your friends join with it. Open matchmaking is planned for later. Either way, nothing passes between players inside Tower Wars except the match itself.

More about online play

Before you pick a side

A few
good questions.

The game, the platform,
and the plan from here.

What is Tower Wars?

Competitive tower defence where each player protects an island core and buys creeps to send at an opponent. Gold pays for both towers and sends.

Which devices is it being made for?

Tower Wars is being made for iPad, designed around landscape touch controls and a clear view of your island.

Can I play against bots?

Yes. Bots play duels and three-player matches at Easy, Normal or Hard, so you can practise, explore the factions and try a different plan.

How does online work without social features?

Online play is in testing with private rooms. One player creates a room and shares its code; friends join with it, for a duel or a three-player match. Matchmaking is planned for later.

Inside Tower Wars there is no text or voice chat, no direct messaging and no player-written content. Players appear under an automatic name, such as Player4821.

What should parents know?

The focus is strategy and fun, with no player communication inside the game. Kids who enjoy building defences and choosing counters can focus on playing.

Online matches can include other people. Bot matches let you practise on your own.

Will there be ads or currency purchases?

The plan is a paid game with no ads and no currency purchases. Gold is earned through gameplay. Pricing has not been announced.

How do I get in touch?

Email hello@towerwars.app. Our privacy policy sets out what the game handles: very little.

When can I play?

Tower Wars is in development for iPad, and a public beta on TestFlight is on the way. A release date and App Store listing haven’t been announced. The images here show development gameplay, model renders and labelled arena artwork.
